Hey, I'm Mel, originally from Austria. I have always felt most alive in winter. Back home, I worked as a snowboard instructor and have a background in sports physiotherapy. Over the past few years, through my travels, I fell in love with the outdoors even more, especially Norway’s nature.

I first came to Norway six years ago and after spending two summers in Lofoten, I’m now back in my favourite city – Tromsø - to experience a full Arctic winter.

This season, I’m happy to guide with Tromsø Outdoor and share the beauty of the North with our guests. I’m excited to try something new and see where this journey takes me.
