In general, we are looking for people with:

  • Relevant work experience
  • Teamwork, organization and control skills, attention to detail and good memory are essential for this work
  • We will prioritize candidates with good knowledge of the Tromsø area, winter equipment, outdoor activities and local knowledge. If you are keen to learn, we look forward to seeing your application
  • Good English with written and spoken proficiency. Norwegian, German, French and Spanish will be an advantage

Open permanent positions:

  1. Bike mechanic and ski technician
    We can offer permanent full time (or 80%) position to candidate who has both:
  • Previous experience working with bike repairs, E-bike experience recommended
  • Previous experience working with ski servicing and repairs.

Work consist of servicing our rental equipment as well as the equipment from the local customers in Tromsø and city visitors.
We can offer possibility to combine work in the workshop with guiding or work in the rental centre for interested candidates, who wish to have more variable work day, and more direct contact with the customers.

Possibilities of seasonal employemnt:

We have two main seasons: Winter and Summer. At the moment, our busiest season is the winter. This is when we employ the most seasonal staff.

Winter - November to May

In the winter season were are always looking for:

1. Guides

  • Previous guiding experience preferably in winter conditions
  • A current first aid certificate
  • A valid driver's class B licence and kjøreseddel (we recommend applying forthis early)

2. Employees for our rental center

  • Experience in work in tourism or sales
  • outdoor enthusiasts
  • knowledge in cross country skis, ski touring, splitboarding, snowshoeing, cycling and camping

3. A ski technician

  • Previous experience working with ski servicing and repairs.

Summer - June to October

In the summer season we need:

1. A bike mechanic

  • Previous experience working with bike repairs
  • E-bike experience recommended
